Independent Wire Rope Core

The core of an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) is made of steel wires that are independent of the outer strands. This core sacrifices some flexibility for improved strength and durability. This allows for application in heavy-duty and demanding applications like mining, oil drilling and marine rigging. The added moisture and chemical resistance also allows for suitability in outdoor and marine applications like these.
