MIL-SPEC & DOMESTIC COATED CABLE
COMMERCIAL & IMPORT COATED CABLE
Our coated cable solutions involve a meticulous process of extruding a plastic jacket onto standard aircraft cable or wire rope, to enhance the cable’s durability and functionality, alongside improving aesthetics. Our coated cable not only adds a layer of protection against abrasions but also ensures resilience in harsh environmental conditions.
The coating on our product contributes to the cable’s overall performance and durability, making it suitable for harsh or demanding environments.

Available Alloys and Materials
The alloy options for our Coated Cable include 302/304, 305 and 316 Stainless Steel, as well as Galvanized Steel for extra breaking strength and durability. If you’re not sure what material to choose for your project, feel free to reach out to our sales team to discuss at sales@loosco.com
Our coating options are plentiful too, with Nylon and Vinyl being the most popular choices. Nylon helps create more strength and durability while Vinyl promotes flexibility. For an extensive look at the capabilities of different materials and alloys, check out our Coated Cable blog here!
Types of Coated Cable
- Single end wire used during Medical tubing extrusion.
- Vinyl is softer and traditionally more flexible than Nylon. Vinyl is an excellent general-use material, and usually less expensive than Nylon, too.
- 7×19 strand Coated Cable manufactured for durability in workout machines
- Nylon is an extremely durable material that is resilient to abrasion and impact. It offers a long cycle life, especially in high-use environments where it moves along pulleys or sheaves.
